7/8/2016 0 Comments A trip to Thainstone...Stewart BrewingDuring a wander round Thainstone Mart with Kerry today I picked up three beers by Stewart Brewing from a local produce stall.
There was a good selection of beers at the stall, some of which I'd heard of/tried before and some that I hadn't. The chap working at the stall took his time to explain some of the beers for me, and I decided that the Stewart Brewing beers were the ones to go for.
Of course I'll post my thoughts once I have tried them 🍻

Well this is a hoppy one...
I picked this one up from my local service station in Westhill on release day (04/08/16) on my way home after a long day at work. This is an extremely bitter DIPA with bold citrus notes throughout, in a light golden body. It comes in at a high 8.5% ABV and was definitely an enjoyable beer - if you are a lover of IPA then you will enjoy this. The most striking thing about this beer however, is the can art. Beavertown for me are the masters of the sickest can art, but this one from Brewdog is absolutely class. It has a bit of a Day of The Dead theme going on, and is definitely one for the shelf 🍻 |
